Monday March 3 Read Across America

Monday is Read Across America Day. Next week in classes we will be using Dr. Seuss stickers, reading Dr. Seuss Books and your child will be receiving Dr. Seuss bookmarks. I am a huge Dr. Seuss fan and his rhyming and making up silly words is a very good compliment to what we do in a Kindermusik class.

I have also provided a link to Seussville. Here you will find fun games to play on the computer and off with your child. There is also interesting information for the adults.

I strongly encourage you to make it a point to visit your local library at some time next week. No matter how young your child is, the Athens County Libraries have books and toys appropriate for him. It is a good routine to establish early in life to go to the library and explore the world of books provided within. And, it is free, dry, warm and safe. For what more could a parent ask?

Have a great weekend and enjoy the reading links in the blogroll to the right of this article.

See you in class!

Hugs,

Miss Christa

  • Hi Christa!

I recently sent you an email to ask some questions about Kindermusik and I just wanted to let you know that I am currently taking the class and love it! I just had my vocal review yesterday and plan to be finished near the end of March.

I just wanted to thank you for your response to my email. I hope to meet you someday.

    Thanks,
    Hollie
