I’ve been thinking about starting a book club for the parents in the studio. It would also be available to friends of parents in the studio as well. My vision is one time a month when we could get together as adults and discuss something we have read. This would be a “grown-up” time out for all of us. I do have a book in mind with which to start, but do not have to be the only one to pick the books. I also think it would be fun to read both fiction and non-fiction together. I know some book clubs only read what is on the bestseller lists or are highly acclaimed. I don’t want to be too stuffy about this. I’m just thinking this would give me a chance to chat with some of the parents on an adult level. We could decide whether to meet somewhere in town or my house is available.
