Last night we held a birthday tea party for our daughter, Hannah, and her cousin, Lyndsey, who both turn seven this week. We had so much fun dressing up , using real china, ringing the bell for maid service, having the door answered by a butler in a real tuxedo, listening to Haydn piano sonatas in the background and making tiaras. We had real hot tea with sugar cubes and cream and cucumber sandwiches. Thanks to Lyndsey’s mom, Kris, for getting the tiaras, treat bags and beautiful cake. Thanks to the big sisters Sarah (Hannah) and Kaylen (Lyndsey) for being such good -natured maids. Thanks to Hannah’s dad, Greg, for wearing his tux and providing butler service. Thanks to Hannah’s mom, Christa, for preparing the food and allowing us to use her china. Here is a slideshow of some of the fun.
